Énigme

ÉNIGME

Johan Linton

Laser cut stainless steel. Leather straps.
Énigme is an homage to the French philosopher Jacques Derrida. A construction of seven arches in stainless steel. Among the references to the work of Jacques Derrida is the instrument - "piano, harp, lyre?" - that he drew during his collaboration with Peter Eisenman for Parc de la Villette; a concrete form contributed to architecture. Each of the seven arches has its own form and they can be composed in different orders. Each series contitute a construction of its own.
